Since 1964, Ayers Towing Service, Inc. has been a trusted name in towing, recovery, and roadside assistance. We are a family-owned and operated business, now run by our second generation, with the third generation actively involved in daily operations and specialized towing services. Our dedication to quality, safety, and efficiency has made us a leading towing provider in Luzerne County and Northeastern Pennsylvania.

A Legacy of Excellence in Towing

Ayers Towing started with just one 1964 Willy’s tow truck. Now over 60 years later, our fleet has grown to include over 50 trucks and trailers, featuring:

  • 9 Heavy-Duty Wreckers, including 2 Rotators
  • Medium and Light-Duty Wreckers
  • Rollbacks, Road Tractors, and Service Trucks
  • Trailers for specialized hauling

Our Facilities & Team

We operate out of two garage facilities and four storage locations, employing over 30 experienced tow truck operators with a combined 150+ years of towing expertise. We prioritize ongoing training and certification to stay ahead in the industry and provide safe, efficient service.

Owners: Todd & Lisa Ayers

  • Todd has over 40 years of towing and recovery experience and holds Wreckmaster, TRAA Heavy Duty, and AAA certifications.



Operations Manager: Eric Hollock

  • Eric has 45+ years of experience in towing and roadside assistance. He is Wreckmaster and TRAA Heavy Duty certified.


Heavy-Duty Equipment Manager: Nick Hollock

  • Nick has 15+ years of experience in heavy-duty towing and holds Wreckmaster and AAA certifications.
